Viola Whitney Pratt (1892-1984) was a Bobcaygeon cottager, writer, magazine editor and book reviewer. On May 23, 2013, we attended the launch of Dorothy L. Thompson's book, Threads from the Loom of Time. Blanche Hales Squires (1892-1971) spent her childhood in Lindsay, graduated from Lindsay Collegiate, and was a local teacher before becoming a poet and newspaper correspondent.
